Gina is delighted to be joining the department of anthropology for the 2020-2021 academic year, where she will be teaching The Body and Society (fall semester), The Politics of Care (spring A), and Anthropology and Science (summer A). Some of Gina's scholarly interests include the biopolitics of science and medicine, the role of affect and care in the production of scientific knowledge and clinical practice, the implications of introducing new technologies to stratified social systems, and the use of oral histories in ethnographic research. Her clinical background is in internal medicine and pediatrics.
